LINK V-BELTS

Link V-Belting is widely used in industries for coupling transmission systems together. Although considerably more expensive than ordinary V-Belts it does have some important advantages:

Advantages of Salsons Link V-Belts (T-Link)

• It can be installed without having to dismantle the drive system and spend hours pulling apart well set-up or bedded in components
• It absorbs vibration and is recommended for drives where the transmission of vibrations from the motor or other sources are undesirable – for e.g. in precision grinding machines and high speed lathe

• It is of very high quality and claimed to have improved shock loading capacity and improved abrasion, oil, chemicals, damp and heat resistance
• It fits all standard pulleys - there is no need to replace or modify the existing setup
• Adjustments to tension and complete belt replacement can be made without moving the pulleys

It is available in all normal sizes and comes in a variety of types.
